- Vocal and Physical Training, warm-up exercises and games
- Shakespeare: Text Study ( a user-friendly approach to text analysis, iambic pentameter and its variations, verse vs. prose, editors, etc.) and Performance
- Acting/Delivering a Monologue
- Understanding Motive/ Character
- Preparing for an Audition…skills learned will be applicable to both stage and camera work
- The Art of Acting
- The Business of Acting
The class environment is safe, encouraging, and both fun and challenging. The class also will accommodate advanced to beginner levels. Experience not necessary - just an eagerness to learn!
JACK WETHERALL is a distinguished artist in theatre, television and film. He began his professional career as a young actor at the Stratford Festival Theatre of Canada where he rose to be a leading member of the company. Wetherall's industry experience spans over forty years as a professional actor: ("Orlando" in AS YOU LIKE IT and "Konstantin" in THE SEAGULL, opposite Dame Maggie Smith, directed by Robin Phillips), to Broadway (title role in the original production of THE ELEPHANT MAN), to Film and Television ("Uncle Vic" on the hit series QUEER AS FOLK).
